| Breast Lift (Mastopexy) | ||||
|
Over the years there has been a
natural process of the female breast that includes the involution of the
mammary gland and the stretching of the skin. This favors the fall of
the breast. This process is accelerated by breastfeeding. Another cause
is important to slimming. The magnitude of stretching is very specific
and varies greatly, but the larger breast is more likely to fall. To
correct this situation could be required mastopexy.
The fall was due mainly to two reasons: A relative excess skin and because flaccidity or stretching. Lack of volume of breast tissue to fill enough.

|
Therefore, a correction needs to
take into account both defects. There are several ways to make a
mastopexy. The simplest, when breasts are small lax, is the inclusion of
a silicone implant. If it is too lax, you must withdraw the excess skin,
including whether or not an implant. Techniques used include incisions
around the areola only in cases minimal, the addition of a vertical
incision in the middle and previous instances over an incision in the
submammary fold was observed in cases of ptosis more pronounced.
